Michael Losier (Low-zee-eh) hails from beautiful Victoria BC, on Canada's west coast. He is the author of the international bestselling book, "Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What You Don't." Michael's amazing ability to help people understand, and more importantly, to apply Law of Attraction to their business, professional and personal lives using simple techniques and tools quickly branded him as the "How-to" guy for the Law of Attraction. Michael soon caught the attention of Oprah Winfrey and was subsequently interviewed four times on her radio show "Oprah and Friends". Since January 2008, Michael has been a regular contributor to "Oprah and Friends", hosting his own show called "The Law Attraction Radio Show with Michael Losier". Michael's Law of Attraction book is now published in over 28 languages around the world. A copy is selling every 2 minutes somewhere in the world. His Law of Attraction audio library is being heard by someone every minute, everyday.

PENGENALAN

Pusat Jaringan Universiti-Industri (UIL), UUM sentiasa meningkatkan perkhidmatannya dalam usaha memberi pendedahan awal yang berfaedah kepada mahasiswa bagi mereka memulakan kerjaya setelah tamat pengajian nanti. Mereka perlu dilengkapi dengan kemahiran-kemahiran ’soft-skill’ dan ’interpersonal skill’ yang boleh memberi bimbingan serta membina sahsiah diri dalam alam pekerjaan dan seterusnya mempunyai keyakinan diri yang boleh meningkatkan kebolehpasaran mereka. Kertaskerja ini adalah untuk mendapat pandangan mengenai cadangan untuk mengadakan program meningkatkan kebolehpasaran graduan UUM. Pelaksanaan program ini dicadangkan untuk para pelajar  yang berada di semester akhir.

 

2.0 RASIONAL PROGRAM

 

2.1           Untuk menyediakan bimbingan dan latihan kepada pelajar sebelum menjalani praktikum;

2.2           Untuk menerapkan kemahiran insaniah di kalangan sasaran kumpulan pelajar yang akan menjalani praktikum;

2.3           Untuk meningkatkan peluang mendapatkan pekerjaan.

 

3.0 OBJEKTIF

 

3.1 Meningkatkan kemahiran kebolehpasaran supaya para graduan mendapat peluang pekerjaan setelah menamatkan pengajian (employability);

3.2 Membentuk graduan yang bersifat tanggungjawab kepada keperluan majikan, menepati masa dan berintegriti (reliability);

3.3 Membina sifat graduan yang cekap berfikir mengenai keperluan serta dapat mengurus kekangan majikan dan organisasi (sensibility);

3.4 Membentuk para graduan yang dapat menyediakan khidmat kerja yang sesuai dan sepadan dengan projek atau tugas yang diberi (flexibility);

3.5 Memberi kemahiran dan motivasi supaya bakal  graduan sentiasa ingin membina diri dan terus mencapai kejayaan dalam perkhidmatan mereka. 

  

4.0 PERLAKSANAAN PROGRAM

 

4.1 Program ini mempunyai 2 bahagian iaitu :

 

4.1.1      Modul Pertama : Pelajar akan mengikuti pendedahan mengenai perancangan kerjaya, penyediaan resume dan pembawakan diri menghadiri temuduga dan juga cara penampilan pakaian yang sesuai untuk ke pejabat.
