Graduate Excellence Assistance Training (GREAT) Programme Year 2010

The Centre for University-Industry Link (UIL), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in collaboration with Learning & Development Centre of PROTON Holding Berhad proudly brings again the Graduate Excellence Assistance Training (GREAT) Programme for all practicum students session June A092 and December A101 year 2010.

GREAT Programme is organized purposely to provide a guidance and training for students that will undergo practicum. GREAT develops the soft-skills and interpersonal skills of students which will contribute to their employability.

Module 1 and 2 of GREAT programmes shall be conducted by experts from PROTON Holdings Berhad, Shah Alam, Selangor. This programme will consist of three (3) parts which are :

i. Module 1 of GREAT : Paving Your Career

GREAT programme Module 1 is organize purposely to expose students with Career Planning, Personality Test, Resume Presentation, Interviewing skills, Networking and Employer Expectations towards creating employable graduating students. The tentative of GREAT Programme Module 1 is as follows :

Day    : Friday & Saturday
Venue : Mu’adzam Shah Hall
Time : 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Fees   : RM15.00 per person
Registration Closing Date :   11 March 2010

a) Attendance is compulsory for practicum students in sessions June A092 & December A101 2010
b) Open to all UUM students

ii. Modul 2 of GREAT : Utilizing Your Potential

Module 2 of GREAT Programme comprises of Communication Skill, Leadership skill, Teamwork and Integrity. Tentative of GREAT Programme Module 2 is as follows :

    (i) CGPA 3.00 and below
    (ii) MUET Band 3 and below

iii. GREAT : Professional Image and Business Etiquette Seminar

The contents of seminar are Professional Image In General, Muslimah Professional Image and Business Etiquette. This seminar will be conducted by Puan Noorhasniza Mohd Zainuddin. Kindly refer to greatjobs.com.my for details of speaker. Tentative of the seminar is as follows :

Majlis Perasmian CUIC Resource Hub & Program Pengembangan Kerjaya 2010

Assalamualaikum wbth dan Salam Sejahtera.

Pusat Kerjasama Universiti-Industri (CUIC) yang sebelum ini dikenali sebagai Pusat Jaringan Universiti-Industri (UIL) mengalu-alukan kedatangan semua pelajar UUM ke Majlis Perasmian CUIC Resource Centre dan Program Pengembangab Kerjaya Tahun 2010 anjuran CUIC, UUM.

Program Pengembangan Kerjaya ini akan disertai oleh lima buah syarikat yang akan menawarkan pelbagai peluang pekerjaan Syarikat tersebut antaranya adalah Flextronics Technology (Penang) Sdn Bhd, Titi Latex Sdn Bhd, Rakan SMI, RHB Bank dan Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd. Lebih dari 100 jawatan kosong akan ditawarkan dalam pelbagai bidang.

Pelajar yang berminat boleh menghadirkan diri ke program tersebut dengan membawa bersama Resume dan salinan asal kelayakan akademik pada tarikh dan masa seperti butiran berikut:

Pihak CUIC juga berbesar hati untuk menyediakan 100 naskah Buku Graduan secara PERCUMA kepada 100 pelajar pertama yang hadir ke majlis perasmian ini.
